A birthday cake that is “futile, tasteless, and not worth celebrating” may not be the best choice for some.
In a recent interview with CNN, actress/musician/activist/writer/filmmaker Jada Pinkett Smith said that she doesn’t like birthday cakes and that she feels like “the world needs to celebrate.”
“I feel like birthday cake has gotten a little stale,” she said.
“I feel bad for the people who don’t like it, because it’s a little boring.”
“It’s so much fun and it’s not the celebration that I want to go through.
I want a celebration that is more meaningful and different.”
Jada Pinkest Smith and her wife have been known to attend their daughter’s birthday party, but they prefer not to.
Jada also said that the party is “tasteless and tasteless.”
“If you want to celebrate somebody else’s birthday, that’s fine, but it doesn’t mean that you have to make something that is tasteless and boring,” she told CNN.
“It just means that you should not be doing it, or it should not happen.
That’s my take on it.
I would say if it were your birthday, or someone else’s, it’s better to celebrate it with a birthday cake, because then it’s different.
You’re not making a mockery of somebody else, but you’re not going to make it the most interesting thing in the world.”
JadapinkSmith, who is a comedian and writer, was speaking to CNN’s Don Lemon about her new book, The Birthday Party Is Killing Us.
In the book, she said that, for many, a birthday party is just a celebration of somebody’s birthday.
“It may be the celebration of someone else.
But it’s like, ‘Oh, I can’t do that anymore, I don’t want to do that,'” she said in the interview.
“And then the cake is just like a big piece of plastic.”
Jaden Pinkest, Jada’s husband, has also spoken out against birthday parties, saying that they are “disgusting and a waste of people’s time.”
“You can get the birthday party and then it just feels like it’s so boring,” he told CNN in 2015.
“So, I’ve been thinking about it, and I think, ‘What would be the most appropriate thing to do?’
Like, what would be interesting to do?””
It sounds like a ridiculous question, but I don`t know,” he added.
“You know, I would never say that you shouldn`t have a birthday, because you have a lot of fun.”JADA PETERS SMITH: The birthday party isn’t just about celebrating someone else`s birthday.
You also celebrate somebody`s individuality.
I don`s like to celebrate people who are different and different people.
So, I want people to come together to celebrate their individuality and their uniqueness.JADAPINKSON: And to celebrate who they are, their individuality is what you celebrate.
